Many would say that where you are is the mission field. I would be the first to agree if all sought to be used where they are. I am not saying that my witness is that of a missionary every day. In fact it always seems easier to witness in a foreign land then at home. Matthew 28: 16 we find the eleven Disciples together. It would at times be nice to be with our strong Christian friends and leave the world to itself. The Lord is about to send them out. Verse 17 is interesting they worshiped but some doubted. Is Doubt wrong? There are times that we all are not sure of where we are let alone where we are headed. I think that Doubt and Faith can work together. There are those who will find theological fault with that concept and that is fine. Please just be real with your heavenly Father. I am not sure of what awaits me in Kenya and Ghana. All I know is verse 19 says “Go”. There it also says “all the nations” which I find interesting. The reason I find it interesting is this is also a word Jesus used in Matthew 24: 14 “all the nations”. Now this seems to be a big task and many can say who do you think you are? Good question, because at times doubt creeps in and I even ask, “who do you think you are and what are you doing so far from home?” Jesus is coming and we are all a part of the plan! Praise the Lord Jesus for the opportunities to take His love to the nations. I want to praise the Lord for the P.U.M.P. Ministries team of Missionaries, Supporters, Prayer Partners, Board Members, and my family. I may be the one that will physically be in Kenya and Ghana but we are all there as a team sharing in the rewards of the harvest that God will bring about. Here we go team!!

Encouragement
January 13, 2011“ENCOURAGE”
Where is the eyes of our heart? Are we focused so much on the events around us or on things above? I do not know about you but there seems to be a lot of discouraged Christians today and at times I fined myself being one of them! I do not want to live a life of discouragement! I want to live a life of victory!! Please allow me to share a personal study on the subject of “encourage”.
Traditionally “encourage” is linked with comfort. So I had to ask myself does my life and walk in the Lord bring comfort to others? Interesting results from an inward inspection.
Hebrew words for “Encourage” mean to strengthen. Once again I had to ask myself does the fruit of my walk with the Lord bring strength to others. I know we can be very hard on ourselves at times but please allow the Holy Spirit to speak to your heart on this.
The Greek words were more complex and I do not claim to be a Greek scholar but it was an interesting study.
First in Acts 27:36 Encourage means to be of good cheer or to cheer up. The question here is my life a life that God can use to bring cheer to others or is my life a life of doom and despair?
Romans 1:12 To encourage together. Am I a part of bringing encouragement to the entire body of Christ or caught up in my own set of problems?
John 11:19, John 11:31, 1 Thessalonians 2:11, and 1Thessalonians 5:14 Conveys a strong sense of comfort or consolation. Do we really care for what is happening to Christians around the world?
Luke 3:18, 1 Thessalonians 5:1, Hebrews 13:22 Encourage, exhort, and comfort. Now is the time!! We are apart of a great time and God is going to give us opportunities that are greater then ever before but we need to be ready!!
Acts 27:34-36 Encouragement in the storms! Life will always have storms but we have a promise verse 24 and it is good for the middle of the storms verse 35. How we handle our storms can effect others!!!
Pray all is well with you all but if it is not remember you are still in the Hands of the Lord Jesus!!!

P.U.M.P. Ministries Nigeria
December 16, 2010
Just want to introduce our Director of Missions in Nigeria Africa. This is Bishop Moses McDerry. We have worked with this man of God for almost ten years now. He was introduced to us by Bishop Harmony Ebe. Bishop McDerry has served the Lord in many different offices such as music minister, youth minister, church planter, senior pastor and many other areas within his country. Bishop McDerry is a happily married man with three wonderful sons. Bishop McDerry is working with the Nigerian Board of Directors and together they are finding many open doors to minister to the pastors and missionaries in Nigeria. Please pray for the ministry team in Nigeria as they continue to serve the Lord through P.U.M.P. Ministries.

IS God able to meet your need!!
December 2, 2010Good morning I would like to discuss today Matthew 24: 14. Jesus states here that “this gospel of the kingdom”. This I find under much attack today. We have so much diversity in the church with this point. We have liberals that claim “all are going to make it because God is love”. We have legalist that say no one but themselves are going to make it unto God. Then those, that say they are the fundamental conservative, can not seem to work together. So my concern with disciple making, as we are called to in Matthew 28: 18-20, what are the new believers suppose to believe? I would like to state that the gospel message has not been changed! Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever! (Hebrews 13: 8 ) We need to stay in the word of God and we need a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as our personal savior. We need the Holy Spirit to reveal the things of God unto us. Please I am not saying that I am the only one that has the answers, but I am saying that that Jesus’ message has not changed!! There is no new gospels and there is no other way unto God except through Jesus!! Now Jesus calls us next in Matthew 24: 14 “ gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in ALL the world for a witness unto ALL nations.” I believe that the enemy of the Body of Christ Jesus has the church looking inward on survival during the difficult times and we are losing the vision for world evangelism. We need to pray for the renewed fire for evangelism. Remember we receive power as the Holy Spirit comes upon us to be a witness. (Acts 1: 8 ) God will make away where there seems to be no way! God owns the cattle on a thousand hills. Look unto things above, keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, He will provide!! Now if we as the church do as we have been asked or requested to do by preaching the gospel everywhere Matthew 24; 14 closes with “then the end will come.” Thank you for holding unto the truth and living a life that God is leading you through. Take this message and share it with others!

Gift of Encouragement
December 1, 2010The Lord has been taking me through a study into the gift of encouragement. Now I am not even close to being released from this study, but I have been praying that I can flow more in this gift! The Hebrew word encourage means to strengthen. The Greek seems to be more complex with what I see so far in my studies. Today I would like to give two different passages that I believe God wants to speak to us. The first scripture is found in Joshua 3: 5. The second is found in Matthew 11: 28-30. Please know that God is calling you in love to continue on with your ministry. Jesus is calling you to come to Him, He has the strength to make it through the storm. Please send me your views as we seek to encourage one another all the more as the day draws near.

Power!
June 7, 2010The Psalmist David wrote in Psalm 51 verse 11 “Do not cast me out from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me.” I believe this would be a terrible thing to lose the Holy Spirit. Paul wrote to the church in Ephesus in chapter 4 verse 30 “do not grieve the Holy Spirit”. Paul also wrote in 1 Thessalonians 5 verse 19 “Do not quench the Holy Spirit”. Acts 1 verse 8 Jesus even stated that there would be power that would enable the the Church to be a witness. I have been convinced that many are afriad of the Holy Spirit just as the Pharisee’s fear Jesus. This caused them to state that all Jesus did was of devil. It seems so fimilar to today whenever the Holy Spirit starts to move people are afriad that they will be seen as penetcostal or they have been taught they will not be able to control the Holy Spirit. Church we need the power now more then ever!! Please through prayer surrender to the Holy Spirits leading. I often hear we are Spirit filled. I wonder though are we Spirit lead? We receive the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit at conversion so this is for all Chrisitians! You have the power it just needs to be released! How about this are you ready to release this power and allow the Holy Spirit to lead you? It will be fanastic to see a power filled Church once again!!

Africa Trip
November 3, 2009WOW, what a trip! The Lord blessed us with over 50 new souls coming to Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior. The church of England with Pastor brother Perter Israel excepted our ministry with open arms and much love. The trip was also successful in appointing 2 new missionaries in Africa. We now have sister Hani Harmony serving in southern Nigeria and also have brother Moses McDerry serving in northern Nigeria. The board in Nigeria is still open and assisting our missionaries as we seek to be lead by the Lord with blessing Pastors and Missionaries in Africa. Please let me know if you would like for me to visit your church or your area with the update and the pictures of the ministry in NIgeria and our new friends and family in England. We are excited about the new openings so we ask for your continual prayers for the Lord to continue to lead and give us directions. THANK YOU!

God where are you?
September 8, 2009I was recently looking at scriptures dealing with people in the Bible who heard from God but then had to wait for what they heard to come to pass. One of the subjects was Joseph. WOW, what a story he first heard from God in a dream then then had to wait until he was 44 years old to see this come to be. Then Moses was a young man and he knew he was called to help his people from exile. It was not until he was 40 years old that he saw this come to be. Then there is David which was a teenager when he was called to be King over Israel. It is a great read to see all he went through before he became King! This all has me thinking how many of us have walked away to soon from what God has spoken to us? The wonderful news in all three stories id how God kept all three of them even when they were not sure where He was or what He was doing. Are you wondering where God has gone? What is God doing with your life? Please know that He loves you and HE is with you even when you are not sure how it is all going to work out! Please hang in there and if you need prayer support please let us know at the ministry!
